Open house for flood victims in Chiang Rai

'Warawut' reveals that the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security has increased the area for temporary shelters to support flood victims. The National Housing Authority has opened 3 areas for the Chiang Rai Affordable Housing Project, which can accommodate 150 people. Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Social Development and Human Security, revealed that this evening (September 11), the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security has coordinated to increase temporary shelters in the ministry's units to support flood victims in Chiang Rai Province. He received a report from the National Housing Authority stating that 3 Chiang Rai housing projects have opened areas as temporary shelters, which can accommodate a total of 150 victims, consisting of: 1. Chiang Rai housing project (Rim Kok), Rim Kok Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Rai District, which can accommodate 50 people; 2. Chiang Rai housing project (Mae Sai 1), Pong Pha Subdistrict, Mae Sai District, which can accommodate 50 people; and 3. C hiang Rai housing project (Mae Sai 2), Pong Pha Subdistrict, Mae Sai District, which can accommodate 50 people. Therefore, when combined with the temporary shelters of the other 4 agencies under the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, namely the Highland People Development Center, Children and Family Shelter, Women and Family Development Learning Center, and the Homeless Protection Center, the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security can accommodate a total of 310 victims. I would like to reiterate that all temporary shelters of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security are ready to provide assistance to victims. They can use the area at any time, and if they encounter any urgent problems, they can call the hotline of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security at 1300 of the Center for Accelerated Public Welfare Management (CWMS) 24 hours a day.
