An accident occurred on Sukhumvit Road in Samut Prakan. A 31-year-old man riding a motorcycle fell into a hole, his body was thrown off his head and hit the ground hard, resulting in death. Samut Prakan City Police Station received a report of a motorcycle accident where a person fell into a pothole in the middle of the road, resulting in injuries. The accident occurred on Sukhumvit Road, heading towards the Electricity Authority intersection, near the entrance to Thesaban 1 School, Pak Nam Subdistrict, Mueang District, Samut Prakan Province. After receiving the report, they, along with rescue workers from Samut Prakan City Municipality and Samut Prakan Rescue Association, traveled to inspect the scene. At the scene, Mr. Itthiphon, 31, was found lying motionless in the middle of the road with wounds on his body and a cut on his head. He was breathing weakly. Rescue workers gave him CPR for a while and took him to Paolo Samut Prakan Hospital. He succumbed to his injuries and died at the hospital. Nearby, a b lue motorcycle was found lying on its side with minor damage. At the scene, a hole about 80 centimeters wide and 10 centimeters deep was found in the middle of the road. The police used asphalt to cover the hole to prevent a repeat accident. The investigation found that the accident occurred at a point where the road was damaged because large vehicles often passed through. It has not been repaired yet. Mr Itthiphon rode his motorcycle at high speed and was not careful. In addition, it was dark, which may have made him unable to see. This caused the motorcycle to fall into a hole.
