ACE signs PPA for 2 more municipal waste power plants

Mr. Thanachai Banditworapoom, Chief Executive Officer of Absolute Clean Energy Public Company Limited or ACE, revealed that the company has been notified by the Provincial Electricity Authority "PEA" that the power purchase agreement ( PPA) for 2 municipal waste power plant projects operated by ACE's subsidiaries has been signed by PEA, which is the contracting party, on May 12, 2023.

namely 1. Chiang Wang community waste power plant project in Chiang Wang Sub-district Administrative Organization, Udon Thani Province, with an installed capacity of 9.0 megawatts and a capacity offered for sale under the PPA contract of 7.75 megawatts, operated by National Clean N Company. Nergy Co., Ltd. (NCE) and 2. Chok Chai Community Waste Power Plant Project in the area of SAO Chok Chai, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, with an installed capacity of 9.9 megawatts and a production capacity offered under a PPA contract of 8.0 megawatts, operated by AB Company. Solute Power Plant Co., Ltd. (ABP)

Both projects increase the portfolio in the group of community waste power plants to 4 locations, in addition to the Nam Phong community waste power plant, Khon Kaen province. and the municipal waste power plant of Krabi Municipality, Krabi Province, which is currently in operation.

For the first quarter of 2023, ACE was able to generate sales and service income of 1,740.6 million baht, an increase of 7.4% from the same period in 2022, which made 1,621.0 million baht, while net profit was 275.0 million baht, a decrease from the quarter. 1 year 2022 that can do 322.7 million baht.-
