ADB Provides $2 Million Grant for Flood Recovery in Songkhla Province

Songkhla: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has provided a $2 million grant to support flood recovery efforts in Songkhla province. Today (July 10, 2026), at the new Sadao Customs checkpoint in Songkhla Province, Ms. Rachada Thanadirek, spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul witnessed the ceremony to receive a grant of US$2 million from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to support mitigation and recovery from the damage caused by the major floods in Songkhla Province.

According to Thai News Agency, the Ministry of Finance has signed an agreement to receive a grant from the ADB following the Cabinet's approval to accept the assistance on behalf of the Thai government, in order to restore areas affected by the 2025 floods in Songkhla province.
