Bangkok: AIS showcased its intelligent digital technology capabilities at the Global Telecom AIoT Summit 2026, bringing IoT solutions to drive the application of AI in the business and industrial sectors.
According to Thai News Agency, the Telecommunications Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage organized the Global Telecom AIoT Summit 2026. This event brought together IoT solutions and served as an international platform for exchanging knowledge and innovation in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT). Under the theme "AI for All," the summit invited executives, experts, and partners from the telecommunications, technology, and government industries from various countries to discuss visions on digital technology and the application of AIoT in business and industry.
AIS announced its participation in the summit by showcasing IoT solutions and digital innovations. Ms. Saichol Sapmakudom, Chief Corporate Communications Officer of AIS, welcomed attendees from the government, private sector, and both domestic and international partners. This highlighted the potential of applying digital technology to enhance organizational operational efficiency, covering aspects from connecting smart devices and managing real-time data to analyzing data to support business decision-making. AIS further shared its insights on AIoT applications through a presentation titled 'AIoT Ecosystem For Business,' which outlined strategies for transforming on-site data into actionable insights that can create business value and improve efficiency.
Mr. Chakrit Urairat, President of the Telecommunications Association of Thailand, emphasized that digital technology has evolved beyond merely being a support tool, emerging as a crucial force in driving the economy, society, and improving people's quality of life. He noted that AI and IoT are integrating data, devices, service systems, and people, fostering new business opportunities and the development of smart cities in the future. The association is committed to promoting and developing a digital ecosystem, with a focus on reducing the digital divide (Digital Inclusion) to ensure that all demographics can learn about and benefit from digital technology and AI comprehensively.
