According to Thai News Agency, an update on the death of Mr. Tewich Taepanth, or "Tae Dragon Five," 46 years old, who was found dead floating in the Chao Phraya River near Rama VII Bridge in Nonthaburi Province. His family has brought his body back for religious ceremonies. The atmosphere is filled with sadness as close friends and members of the band Dragon Five come to pay their respects and bid farewell to their friend for the last time.
Andy Khemphimuk, or "Andy Dragon Five," looked at the photos for a while, then walked over and tapped the coffin. He said that yesterday he went to the scene of the incident to invite Tae's spirit, telling him to return home and go to the temple. He revealed that after police reviewed CCTV footage, they found images of Tae near the stairs under the bridge with a bicycle and the spot where he put the stones in his bag. They are currently reviewing more footage. He confirmed that Tae did not suffer from depression and there were no prior signs of abnormality.
Nikki Sura Teerakol, a close friend of Tae for over 30 years, revealed that Tae was a polite, well-mannered, and reserved person who never showed any signs of stress to his friends. He admitted to being aware of some problems, particularly business issues, but declined to disclose details. He said he had only seen minor problems in the past and never imagined they would be this serious. Meanwhile, the family has scheduled three nights of funeral rites before the cremation ceremony on August 11, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Wat Buakhwan, Nonthaburi Province.
