Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul, who holds positions as both the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, clarified his recent social media post that sparked widespread speculation. The post, which metaphorically described "running headfirst into a wall," led to various interpretations, including assumptions that it was aimed at Ms. Sirikanya Tansakul, a list MP and deputy leader of the People's Party. Anutin, while touching his forehead, emphasized that the post was a personal reminder, stating, "I have a bump on my head."
According to Thai News Agency, the post titled "Running headfirst into a wall every day, but the wall keeps getting higher and thicker. If I keep running into it, my head will hurt again," resulted in counter-posts from People's Party MPs, further fueling the controversy. When questioned about the post's intended recipient, Anutin maintained ambiguity, simply noting, "Bump on my head." Further inquiries about the post's intention were met with his assertion, "Teaching myself, warning myself," reinforcing that the message was meant for personal reflection rather than as a critique of any individual.
