Anutin Assures Political Stability, Dismisses Cabinet Reshuffle Rumors

Bangkok: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul has emphasized the stability of the current political landscape, refuting any speculation regarding cabinet reshuffles. Anutin, who is also the leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, criticized media outlets for promoting false narratives and urged them not to waste airtime on inaccurate analyses.

According to Thai News Agency, Anutin stated that the political climate would remain calm at least until June 13, when the Supreme Court’s Criminal Division for Holders of Political Positions is scheduled to hold a hearing. He asserted that the political situation has consistently been stable, suggesting that any perceived turmoil is a fabrication of the media. Anutin noted that recent cabinet meetings have proceeded without issues, further underscoring the stability of the government.

When questioned about potential cabinet reshuffles, Anutin confirmed that Prime Minister had not indicated any forthcoming changes. He reiterated that there are no internal forces pushing for a cabinet shake-up, describing the current state of affairs as satisfactory. Anutin addressed previous rumors that circulated during the Songkran festival, dismissing them as baseless and urging the media to refrain from engaging in speculative analysis that could lead to public embarrassment.
