Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, firmly dismissed rumors concerning a potential cabinet reshuffle, emphasizing that the current priority is on achieving tangible outcomes. He clarified that although the Prime Minister holds the authority to initiate a reshuffle at any time, it is not on the agenda at present.
According to Thai News Agency, Anutin Charnvirakul assured that the government, which is only four months into its tenure, is operating efficiently under his guidance. He mentioned that any future reshuffle would be contingent on the prevailing circumstances, with the Prime Minister retaining the discretion to make changes when necessary. Anutin further explained that ministers who are performing well will retain their positions.
Anutin also addressed the possibility of another party joining the government in a future reshuffle, stating that it is currently not feasible. He noted that past performance has highlighted improved communication and consistent results from the government. He expressed confidence in the government's actions, which he believes are beneficial for the country, despite criticism from detractors.
The government's working group and civil servants have reportedly been able to implement strategies effectively, with Anutin highlighting the excellent cooperation received from civil servants, the security sector, and the economic sector. This collaboration, he stated, is built on mutual trust, contributing to the government's successful operations.
