Anutin Charnvirakul Embraces Phuket Governor at Royal Thai Air Force Base

Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, was seen offering a warm embrace to Governor Nirat Pongsitthaworn upon his arrival at the Royal Thai Air Force Base 6. The gesture came as the two leaders met in the reception room at Wing 6, where Governor Sembei had earlier entered to meet with the Prime Minister. During their encounter, Anutin comforted the governor by extending an invitation, saying, "Come stay with me."

According to Thai News Agency, Governor Nirat Pongsitthaworn of Phuket Province was at the airbase to meet with Anutin Charnvirakul. Upon his arrival, Nirat proceeded to the VIP lounge where he was greeted by Mr. Arsit Sampanrat, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior. The two engaged in conversation before Mr. Anutin arrived.

Once Anutin Charnvirakul made his entrance, both Mr. Nirat and Mr. Arsit approached him. Governor Nirat embraced the Prime Minister, who responded with, "Come be with me, come be close to me." Following this exchange, Governor Nirat briefed the Prime Minister on the solutions to the challenges facing Phuket Province.

After the conclusion of their discussions, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul departed for the Russian Federation. There, he was scheduled to attend the Special ASEAN-Russia Summit in Kazan, taking place from June 17-18.
