Bangkok: Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Anutin Charnvirakul, made a memorable visit to his alma mater, Assumption College, where he engaged with students, played the saxophone with the AC Band, and provided encouragement to the football team ahead of an important tournament.
According to Thai News Agency, Anutin visited the Assumption College Hall of Fame and the Center for Research and Development of Innovation, Aerospace Technology, and Advanced Technology. During his visit, he expressed gratitude to the institution for the honors bestowed upon him, which he noted he would cherish for life. Anutin also participated in a flight simulation exercise at the AC AVIATION Training Center where he performed an acrobatic maneuver that surprised onlookers.
At the Louis-Marie Grand Hall, the Prime Minister was greeted with a welcome video and letters from students. He later joined the AC Band, showing his musical skills by playing “Assumption Salute” and “Stars and Stripes Forever” on the saxophone. Anutin’s visit also aimed to motivate Assumption College’s football team as they prepared for the 31st Chaturamit Samakkhi Football Tournament, which the college will host. He promised to attend the final on November 22nd, showing his commitment to supporting his former school.
Anutin emphasized the values of discipline, honor, and dignity that Assumption College instilled in its students, encouraging them to pursue success with integrity. He also highlighted the importance of unity and support among students, urging them to strive for excellence in both academics and sports.
