Birmingham: Aston Villa have confirmed the signing of Alejandro Garnacho, the Argentine winger from Chelsea, on a one-season loan deal with an option to buy permanently.
According to Thai News Agency, Garnacho will sign a four-year contract at Villa Park after his loan spell ends, provided he meets performance conditions agreed upon by both clubs for the 2026/27 season.
Garnacho only moved from Manchester United to Chelsea for £40 million (approximately 1.76 billion baht) last season. However, he failed to secure a starting place at Stamford Bridge, starting just 22 games across all competitions, including only 14 Premier League starts, and scoring 8 goals. Consequently, Chelsea decided to loan him out to Aston Villa.
