Authorities Intensify Search for Gang Following Theft of Five Motorcycles in a Single Night

Sanam chai khet: Police are urgently hunting down a gang of thieves who stole five motorcycles in a single night in the heart of a community. Victims are urging authorities to quickly apprehend the culprits, who are expected to be caught soon. CCTV footage has captured relatively clear images of their faces.

According to Thai News Agency, CCTV footage from last night (June 20th) captured the moment four armed men walked into the parking lot of an apartment building in Moo 4, Khuyai Mhee Subdistrict, Soi Wat Phothigam. They pretended to park their motorcycles before two of their accomplices approached, dragged the victim's motorcycle away without hesitation, and rode off.

Mr. Chakrin and Mr. Phakorn, the victims, recounted that after discovering their motorcycle had been stolen, they searched for it all night because it was a brand new vehicle. They are very distressed and have filed a police report at Sanam Chai Khet Police Station, providing the police with CCTV footage from the apartment building where the incident occurred. They never imagined their motorcycle would be stolen, as their apartment is only about 700 meters from the police station. They also learned that this same group of thieves stole three more motorcycles from residents of Ban Don Tha Na on the same night, bringing the total number of stolen motorcycles to five in one night.

Regarding the legal case, police at Sanam Chai Khet Police Station have initially gathered evidence and deployed investigative and patrol officers to expedite the investigation and track down the perpetrators. It appears to be an organized crime operation, and police expect to apprehend them soon, as the CCTV footage shows their faces quite clearly.
