Open for deposits from August 19 - October 18 at all BAAC branches nationwide. Mr. Phongsaphan Jongrak, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), revealed that BAAC is opening for instant interest deposits to support customers who use the maturing deposit product to have an alternative to continuously deposit money and build financial immunity. Those interested can open an instant interest deposit account with a minimum deposit of 100,000 baht and can deposit additional 100,000 baht or more at a time, up to a maximum of 20,000,000 baht per person for a period of 11 months, with immediate interest on the deposit date at 2 percent per year (equivalent to a fixed deposit of 2.35 percent per year). Deposits will be accepted from August 19 to October 18, 2024, or until the bank announces the closure of deposits. For existing customers with an instant interest savings account that has matured, you can contact the branch where the account was opened to express your intention to continue the project.
