‘Ball Pak Waeng’ arrested for robbing 3.3 million baht

'Ball Pakwaeng' has been arrested for robbing 3.3 million baht in cash in a parking lot of a famous shopping mall in the Phatthanakan area after fleeing to hide in Laos. Coordination is underway to extradite him to Thailand for prosecution. Pol. Col. Noppasin Poolsawat, deputy commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, revealed that Mr. Nantaporn, 35 years old, nicknamed 'Ball Pak Waeng,' a suspect with an arrest warrant from the Phra Khanong Criminal Court, No. Chor. 388/2567, dated July 7, 2024, on charges of 'jointly robbing with or using a firearm and using a vehicle,' one of the suspects who used a gun to threaten the victim in a robbery case of 3,300,000 baht in cash at a shopping mall parking lot on Phatthanakan Road, Suan Luang District, Bangkok on July 2, was arrested by Lao police in Khammouane Province after robbing a gold shop in Laos on July 1 before fleeing to commit the robbery in the area of ??Prawet Police Station and fleeing back to Laos to find his wife, until he was arrested by Lao police. For Mr. Nantaphorn, he is a dangerous person who was arrested since November 2008. He was prosecuted for robbery and indecent assault by using the method of ambushing the victim, who was a student riding a motorcycle with her boyfriend, before robbing and taking the woman to rape her. He was released from prison at the beginning of 2013. Later in December 2013, he committed robbery and rape in the Chokchai Police Station area by hijacking a woman who had parked her Toyota Alphard and was sleeping in front of a restaurant before driving the woman to have sex with her and abandoning her on the side of the road before stealing the Toyota Alphard.
