According to Thai News Agency, "Bew" Puripol's time of 20.03 seconds breaks the previous Thai national record of 20.07 seconds, which was set at the 33rd SEA Games. This remarkable feat highlights his growing prowess on the track and marks a significant achievement in Thai athletics. Meanwhile, another Thai runner, "Oat" Thawatchai Heem-iad, also showcased impressive performance by finishing first in the second group with a time of 20.84 seconds, placing him fourth overall in the competition.
