“Big Hong” Inaugurates Thai Youth Snooker Tournament with Global Aspirations

Bangkok: "Big Hong" Sunthorn Jarumong, the President of the Billiard Sports Association of Thailand, officially inaugurated the 2026 Thailand Under-21 Snooker Championship at PS Sport Academy, Phetkasem. This prestigious event, which will continue until April 3rd, 2026, showcases the talents of 91 young players from various regions of Thailand.

According to Thai News Agency, the championship will commence with a group stage format, allowing participants to compete in a series of matches before advancing to the knockout stage. This competitive structure is designed to culminate in an exciting final showdown. "Big Hong" emphasized the potential of Thai youth in the international snooker scene, particularly highlighting the opportunities that would arise once the Gambling Act is lifted.
