Body of “Hlun Solo” Returns to Kalasin Amid Traditional Ceremonies

Kalasin: The body of Mr. Bowornthat Pengsuk, widely known as "Hlun Solo," has returned to his hometown in Kalasin, prompting a gathering of family members and local residents to perform traditional ceremonies. The atmosphere was somber as the Asok Rescue Unit transported his body in a van with the license plate 5 KhM 661 Bangkok, marking his final journey back to Somdet District.

According to Thai News Agency, the arrival of "Hlun Solo's" body was met with a traditional coffin-tapping ritual performed by his elder brother, Mr. Somsak Butsri, before moving forward with religious ceremonies. The community has planned a traditional Buddhist funeral rite to honor the late travel YouTuber, who had garnered a significant following for his engaging travel content.

The reception ceremony was led by Mr. Suwan Khemthanaphet, Governor of Kalasin Province, alongside local leaders and residents who gathered to pay their respects and support the grieving family. Their presence underscored the deep impact that "Hlun Solo" had on his community.

In a supportive gesture, Somdej Hospital's MCATT (Mental Health Crisis Intervention Team) has been deployed to provide psychological support and counseling to the bereaved family members. This initiative aims to alleviate the mental distress faced by the relatives in the aftermath of their loss, underscoring the community's collective effort to stand by the family during this difficult time.
