Bangkok:Actress Boom Panadda has announced her decision to divorce her husband, revealing plans to meet at 9 AM at the Bang Phlat District Office to finalize the separation. The announcement came amid allegations that her husband was supporting the daughter of their housekeeper and had requested 2 million baht for what she suspects may have been an illegal land purchase.
According to Thai News Agency, Boom Panadda Wongphudee, accompanied by her lawyer, held a press conference to discuss the case involving Got Athip, who is accused of illegally utilizing land under the Royal Thai Army’s care in Nakhon Nayok Province. Boom disclosed that she was unaware of the land deal, which was valued at 2.5 million baht in a sales contract dated October 5, 2024. She claimed her husband had asked for 3 million baht for a business venture but did not specify its purpose.
During the press conference, Boom addressed her personal challenges, including the discovery of her husband's affair with a 17-year-old. This revelation, along with the disappearance of over 7 million baht from their safe, strained their relationship. She expressed a desire to raise her children in a better environment, away from financial troubles, and urged her husband to part ways amicably.
Boom also expressed her heartbreak over the involvement of a third party, who was a close friend, in her husband's infidelity. Despite this betrayal, she declared her intention to take a break from hosting the "Clear Chat Chat" program for a month, receiving support from her co-hosts Tae Naragorn Tiyanon and Sirot Klamphaiboon.
She concluded by stating her willingness to cooperate with any investigation regarding the land issue, emphasizing her desire to uncover the truth and resolve the matter appropriately.
