Border Provinces Remain Calm as Thai Military Maintains Vigilance

Bangkok: This morning’s situation in the seven border provinces is generally normal, but security remains in place to prevent any intrusion into sovereignty. Mr. Jirayu Huangsap, Government Spokesperson and the Committee of the Thai-Cambodian Border Situation Administration (TCASAB), reported that the overall border situation in seven provinces remains normal. The Thai military remains on alert and maintains 24-hour security to monitor Cambodian movements and prevent any form of sovereignty encroachment.

According to Thai News Agency, the government and military also urge the public to exercise discretion in receiving news and to follow information only through official government channels to prevent distortion or fake news that could cause confusion. They emphasized that the government and military will continue to carry out their missions with due diligence to ensure the stability and safety of the people in border areas.

“The situation on the Thai-Cambodian border remains calm. The military remains in place and is closely monitoring the situation. Meanwhile, the government continues to provide care and evacuate people from at-risk areas, as well as deliver relief supplies to those affected. We reaffirm our commitment to fully defending national sovereignty and urge the public to trust information from official channels to jointly maintain an atmosphere of peace and national security,” said Mr. Jirayu.
