Preah vihear: Cambodia began the process of withdrawing heavy weapons and military equipment from the border area in Preah Vihear province on November 1, following the first phase of the agreement of the Regional Border Committee (RBC) jointly agreed with Thailand.
According to Thai News Agency, photos released by Cambodian state media showed Cambodian soldiers, artillery trucks, and military trucks lined up on the road, preparing to move back to their base, with military observers from Malaysia also observing the operation. The Cambodian army released a press release stating that the withdrawal is being carried out simultaneously by both Cambodia and Thailand, under the observation and verification of the ASEAN Observer Team (AOT). The operation is scheduled to last for three weeks from November 1-21, 2025. The agreement between Cambodia and Thailand on a concrete, phased withdrawal of heavy arms and military equipment was reached at a special RBC meeting on October 31.
On the Facebook page of Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Senate, he posted a live broadcast of the withdrawal of troops by the National Television of Cambodia (TVK) which lasted approximately 1 hour and 37 minutes.
