Bangkok:Christians are invited to join "Tak-Napassaran" in the program "From Womb to Tomb" on November 8th on Channel 9, as part of a day of remembrance for the deceased.

According to Thai News Agency, the program features "Tak-Napassaran Mitthiroj" and is supported by the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund. The docuseries, titled "Born to Heaven," delves into beliefs, rituals, traditions, and culture, offering viewers insights into both differences and similarities among them. The show emphasizes care for the newborn, hope for the sick, and respect for the deceased, airing every Saturday and Sunday at 1030 AM on Channel 9, 30.

This Sunday, November 8th, the episode titled "EP12 (After Death) 'Christians' Day of Remembrance for the Deceased'" will focus on the Roman Catholic Church's tradition of the Day of Remembrance for the Dead. This ritual centers on prayer for souls, particularly those in purgatory, seeking God's mercy and liberation. The practice is rooted in the belief that the prayers of the living can assist souls in reaching glory, marking the day as one of spiritual connection rather than sorrow. Prayers, bells, holy water, candles, and flowers are used as mediums to link memory, love, and faith, reinforcing family and community bonds and preserving the shared identity and memory of Christians worldwide.
