According to Thai News Agency, security intelligence continues to alert all three branches of the government-the military, police, and local administration-to maintain strict vigilance against attacks by insurgent groups who continue to move and carry out attacks at various locations in the area.
Global House department store in Bana Subdistrict, Mueang District, Pattani Province, which was damaged by three bombs planted by unknown assailants on the night of August 29th, has reopened to the public as normal. Today, maintenance staff are working to install and repair security equipment, including license plate scanners, ID card readers, and CCTV cameras damaged by the attackers. In addition, stricter checks of vehicles entering and exiting the store have been implemented to ensure the safety of customers.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant General Adul Boonthamcharoen, Minister of Defence, visited the Internal Security Operations Command Region 4 Forward Headquarters at Sirindhorn Camp, Yarang District, Pattani Province, to listen to the situation, problems, obstacles, and suggestions from those working on the ground. He emphasized that his visit was not just to inspect or issue orders, but to personally listen to what those working on the ground are facing, what support they need, and what issues should be prioritized, because those on the front lines know the true situation best.
