The ceremony took place at the 80th Anniversary Commemoration Meeting Room within the Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organization Public Park. Following this, Chiang Mai residents took turns offering water to cleanse the royal remains, showing their gratitude for Her Royal Highness's ongoing contributions to the nation and its people.

In Sakon Nakhon, the public gathered at Wat Pa Suthawasi in Mueang Sakon Nakhon district to pay their respects and sign a book of condolences. The ceremony, presided over by the Governor of Sakon Nakhon, saw the participation of government officials, the judiciary, the military, police, and the private sector. The ceremony took place in the Sala Ruam Jai Anusorn (Memorial Hall) starting at 8:30 AM.

In Udon Thani, Mr. Chiewchan Sakpratimakorn, owner of Khao Khua Hua Hom restaurant, revealed that Princess Bajrakitiyabha's favorite dish was "Suea Rong Hai (beef salad with spicy dipping sauce)" which she always ordered very spicy. Mr. Chiewchan shared his joy and honor of serving Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on several occasions, demonstrating how to prepare her favorite dish served with sticky rice. Over five visits, the Princess consistently ordered this dish, which led to increased popularity and business for the restaurant.

Mr. Chiewchan recounted receiving a call from the police informing him of Princess Bajrakitiyabha's first visit to his restaurant, a small and traditional Northeastern Thai eatery without air conditioning. Initially shocked and unsure, he was reassured by royal guards to act normally. The Princess ordered several dishes, always including her favorite grilled beef brisket with spicy dipping sauce and sticky rice, which she praised highly. After her visits, many patrons followed suit, boosting the restaurant's business. Despite the unexpected royal visits, Mr. Chiewchan has kept five sets of the plates and bowls used during these meals as sacred mementos, intending to preserve them forever due to their sentimental value.
