‘Chinkrit-Rungnapa’ won the championship of Phrae Triathlon Year 5 ‘Phrae Triathlon 2024’

The 5th 'Phrae Triathlon 2024' triathlon competition is organized by the Sports Authority of Thailand in collaboration with Phrae Province under the concept of 'Enchanted Phrae, Overflowing with Lanna Charm' to promote exercise and stimulate the tourism economy in the province. This year, there are a total of 400 athletes participating in the competition, divided into 2 categories: standard distance for regular triathletes and sprint distance (short distance) for novice triathletes. The event was honored by Mr. Somchai Amphankan, Deputy Governor of Phrae Province, who presided over the opening ceremony and released the athletes, along with Ms. Sumintra Jindakhat, Director of the Sports Authority of Thailand, Phrae Province, and Mr. Chanathip Supasiri, President of the Sports Association of Phrae Province, who joined the event at Wat Phra That Cho Hae, Royal Monastery and Mae Sai Reservoir, Phrae Province on July 14. This year's competition atmosphere was lively with athletes from all over the country joini ng the competition, totaling 400 lives, amidst cheering fans who came to cheer along the entire route of the competition. Starting from the athletes' starting point at Mae Sai Reservoir and heading to the cycling route along the Cheing Thong Waterfall, behind Cho Hae, with the finish line at the activity area of ??Wat Phra That Cho Hae Royal Monastery. The entire competition route is a beautiful natural route and is a famous tourist attraction of Phrae Province. For the winners of the Men's Singles, Standard Distance category this time, they are Chinkrit Suangpankao, 2nd place Rawiphon Phromthong, 3rd place Witthaya Talao, 4th place Ron Gerrits and 5th place Bandit Wisesphanit. Women's singles standard distance (Overall standard) first place goes to Rungnapa Kuson, second place goes to Somsri Phumidit, third place goes to Yotsawadi Krutklom, and fourth place goes to Talika Khaekhai. For the Men's Single Sprint category, this year's winner was Kritsanaphol Ponpai, who was able to cross the finish line and win the championship for the second time. Second place went to Phuwadech Rakmanut, third place went to Watcharapong Prongjai, fourth place went to Komut Maneechai, and fifth place went to Chatcharin Sawangmekrit. In the women's short-distance singles (Sprint), 1st place went to Kulnit Namjaisuk, 2nd place went to Jintana Thepjanta, 3rd place went to Sirinant Khiawdee, 4th place went to Noppamas Wichiankantha, and 5th place went to Wiphaen Puanglamchiak, respectively.
