Nonthaburi, Cleared up! Police compensate 9,000 baht for repairing a house fence wall to the victim in a case where police chased a suspect's car, causing the suspect's car to lose control and crash into a house wall in Bang Krai District, Nonthaburi Province. Progress from the case of the Social Hunter 2022 page posting a picture with a message saying, "The incident occurred at a house in Bang Kruai District, Nonthaburi Province on June 26. The police chased the suspect's car, causing the suspect's car to lose control and crash into a wall of a house. The suspect abandoned the car and fled. The homeowner has recently filed a police report, but has not yet found anyone to be responsible for the cost of repairing the house wall. Normally, there is a Japanese crepe shop in front of the house, but when the house wall was damaged, customers did not dare to walk into the shop." The reporter traveled to the house in Bang Kruai District, Nonthaburi Province, and met Ms. Nipa, 34 years old, the owner of the crepe shop, who was the victim. She took the reporter to see the damaged concrete fence. It was found that the house wall was about 3 meters from the main road, Soi Phadung Sawat. The fence wall was damaged in its entirety, 3 meters wide and 1.5 meters high. The adjacent wall was cracked. The wall posts were broken. It is estimated that two wall sections will need to be repaired. Several days have passed and the wall is still damaged as before. Ms. Nipa revealed that the incident occurred on Wednesday, June 26, at approximately 7:00 a.m. At the time of the incident, she was upstairs at home. At first, she heard a police siren and thought it was an ambulance. After a while, she heard a loud bang and people shouting to stop. She opened the window and got out to see the suspect's car stuck against the wall with a police car next to it. Initial reports indicate that the police car hit the suspect's car from behind, causing the suspect's car to lose control and hit the wall of her house. The suspect then ran away. Aft er the incident, I went to ask the police officer what to do next. He said that I had to wait for the police insurance because the insurance for the perpetrator's car had not arrived that day and it was the perpetrator's side that had to pay for the damages. And the perpetrator had already fled. What should I do? So I had to call the media. In this regard, reporters reported that Dr. Chaimes Chaiphacharakulpong or Dr. Kaew, a senior expert at the Royal Thai Police and chairman of the Nonthaburi Provincial Police Commission, took Mr. Jirasak and Ms. Nipa, the injured couple, to meet Pol. Lt. Col. Phasakon Kittiwanichanont, deputy chief of the investigation division at Plai Bang Police Station, to follow up on the progress of the case. After talking for about 30 minutes, they reached a conclusion, in which Dr. Kaew provided assistance and gave 9,000 baht to the injured to repair the fence. Source: Thai News Agency
