Community Development Department extends knowledge to develop products to international standards

The Community Development Department has launched a book on knowledge development for product development to international standards (Thai Textiles Trend Book Spring/Summer 2025), created in line with the concept of the 'Fun to Wear Thai Fabric' project, which helps create a creative dimension in design that still maintains the original foundation of the exquisite and beautiful Thai fabrics, as well as various handicrafts. Mr. Suttipong Juljarern, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Mrs. Wandee Kuncharayakong Juljarern, President of the Ministry of Interior Housewives Association, and Mr. Sayam Sirimongkol, Director-General of the Community Development Department, jointly announced the launch of the book on knowledge development for product development to international standards (Thai Textiles Trend Book Spring/Summer 2025). Mr. Sayam stated that the Thai Textiles Trend Book Spring/Summer 2025 was initiated by the idea of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, which is part of the project 'Fun with Thai Fabric' to inspire creativity to integrate with Thai handicrafts and handicrafts to prepare them for entering the fashion industry at the international level. At the same time, it will help inspire, share, and disseminate knowledge about Thai Tone colors, natural colors on fabrics, clothing, and textiles, as well as product development guidelines for those in the Thai fabric industry, both at the community, local, regional, and national levels, by using international concepts to help further develop the concept in the creative dimension and develop the Thai fabric industry into practical practice, while creating ripples and instilling awareness in elevating a good and modern image. Ready to generate income for the community, people, and add economic and cultural value, especially in Thai handicrafts for the country sustainably.
