Cremation of Delivery Rider Victim of NACC Director Held in Bangkok

Bangkok: The body of Mr. Sornarin, a delivery rider who tragically lost his life in a car accident involving Mr. Jarong, the Director of the Investigation and Special Affairs Division of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), was cremated. The accident occurred in the early hours of May 28th in the Bang Sri Muang Police Station area.

According to Thai News Agency, the funeral took place at Sala 3, Wat Thung Khru, where relatives of the deceased performed traditional rites by moving the body around the crematorium three times, accompanied by traditional Thai music. The cremation ceremony was scheduled for 5:00 PM. The ceremony was attended by family members and other riders who were deeply affected by the incident.

Prior to the cremation, reports indicated that Mr. Jarong, involved in the fatal accident, would be present at the ceremony. Additionally, Mr. Thanat, a 25-year-old rider who previously resorted to punching Mr. Jarong in the face as an act of vigilante justice, intended to apologize for his actions. This gesture aimed to resolve tensions and seek reconciliation amidst the grief surrounding the tragic event.
