Samut prakan: Crowds flocked to see the adorable otter at a pier along the Chao Phraya River. The sight of otters sunbathing and playing on the floating pier in front of the Samut Prakan Provincial Hall has become a viral sensation on social media. As a result, hundreds of individuals from both nearby and distant areas gathered to witness the charming scene, with many bringing their families and capturing the moment with mobile phones and cameras.
According to Thai News Agency, the area around the Provincial Hall was packed with people eager to see the otters. One visitor shared that they traveled from Muang Thong Thani after seeing the otter on TikTok, arriving at around 5:30 PM. Despite the anticipation, the otter did not appear, leading to some disappointment. Another group came from Bang Khae after seeing pictures on social media. Although they were disappointed not to see the otters, they decided to make the best of their visit by exploring local eateries.
While the otter did not make an appearance that day, many visitors understood that it is the nature of animals to have unpredictable appearances. They remain hopeful for another opportunity to see the beloved otters in action.
