Bangkok: Officials worked all night to search for missing victims of the State Audit Office building collapse, focusing on Zone C because it is believed that the most people are trapped.
According to Thai News Agency, at the ruins of the Office of the Auditor General (OAG), officials continued to work on drilling continuously throughout the night until approximately 6:30 a.m. when they stopped drilling. After that, officials from various agencies went to inspect various points with search dogs. This is considered the first round of dog operations today. Officials will use dogs to search the work site three times a day.
However, it was reported that last night, officials found two more bodies trapped inside the Office of the Auditor General building, gender unknown, and found 24 pieces of flesh. All of them were transported to the Police General Hospital’s forensic department. Most of them were found in Zone C of the collapsed building. Currently, the machinery is focused on Zone C because this area is assumed to have the most people trapped.
The area is an area with a lot of steel bars. It is necessary to use gas-powered steel cutting equipment to enter the area. The work of the officers will remain the same. There will be a shift change every eight hours. When the eight hours have passed, officers will come in to take turns.
