A few weeks have passed since the possession and consumption of cannabis for medicinal purposes was decriminalised. Meanwhile, recreational use is “strongly discouraged”, especially in public, but with a lack of clear legislation and rules in place against it, many have interpreted the regulation change that enabled it as blanket legalisation. Dispensaries are popping up in neighbourhoods in Bangkok and across the country selling strains openly to happy customers.
