Mr. Jetsada Tonawanik stated that he traveled to meet the people in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. He visited Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan to pay respects to the Buddha relics before passing by a famous coffee shop in the area and encountering a large gathering of supporters of the People's Party. He found the supporters very friendly and the atmosphere lively. He then went to observe the situation and saw Mr. Pita Limjaroenrat, a campaign assistant for the People's Party, talking and taking photos with the people.
Mr. Jetsada said, "This is the atmosphere where the people will work together to administer the country and govern it. We must think positively and constructively. We must love our nation and work together to develop it, upholding the core institutions of the country: Nation, Religion, and Monarchy. We must promote patriotism; everyone loves their country. We see many supporters of the People's Party speaking out, eager to help develop the country. This is the atmosphere we want to see. Let's not categorize people as patriots or unpatriotic, but look at each other positively. What has preserved the traditions and customs of our country to this day is patriotism-a love for what our ancestors cherished. We can have different opinions."
He further added, "We can have different opinions, but let's not divide the country. Let's not use the situation to turn all factions into adversaries. We're not fighting amongst ourselves today."
Mr. Jetsada continued, "We have to fight Cambodia. We have to fight the countries surrounding us that harbor ill intentions towards us. We have to fight countries far away that are being dishonest. The war of the future is not a war between ourselves; it's a regional war, a global war where we must unite. Regardless of political affiliation, we must join hands. We are all Thais, we love our country, and we must work together to develop our nation."
