Bangkok: Dr. Nattawut Wongniem confirms he is following up on the case against Suchart and MP Ice regarding the Computer Crime Act and defamation charges. Dr. Nattawut Wongniem, a public law expert, confirmed that his visit to Thonglor Police Station was in his capacity as a representative of his law firm, authorized by Mr. Suchart Chomklin to file a complaint with the investigating officers at Thonglor Police Station to pursue criminal charges against Ms. Rakchanok Srinok, or "MP Ice." He stated that his visit was solely to follow up on the progress of the case and as an observer. He emphasized that he wanted the facts of the case to be considered and reiterated that his visit to Thonglor Police Station was solely for the purpose of monitoring the case's progress.
According to Thai News Agency, previously, Mr. Suchart Chomklin had instructed his law firm, represented by Dr. Nattawut Wongniem, a public law expert, to file a complaint with the Thonglor Police Station to pursue criminal charges against Ms. Rakchanok Srinok for disseminating or importing false information into a computer system and for defamation by publication, stemming from her social media posts. Meanwhile, Ms. Rakchanok Srinok, an MP from the People's Party, met with investigators to acknowledge the charges, denied all allegations, and stated that politicians should be tolerant of criticism.
