Drunk Myanmar man stabs coworker to death

A young Myanmar man stabbed two of his fellow countrymen to death and seriously injured another after they were drinking together and had an argument. He claimed that he was attacked and used the knife to defend himself. Police from Taling Chan Police Station went to investigate a stabbing incident in which two people were killed inside a worker's residence at the back of a granite shop on Borommaratchachonnani Road, Chim Phli Subdistrict, Taling Chan District. On the second-floor staircase walkway of the worker's residence, they found the body of Mr. Cho Khai Len, 27, a Myanmar national, lying dead on his right side with a stab wound to his torso. He was lying dead in a pool of his own blood. Further inside the walkway to the room, they found the body of Mr. Su P. Aw, 27, a Myanmar national, who had been stabbed in the torso and lying face up on the floor. In addition, there was one injured person, later identified as Mr. Adam, 25, a Myanmar national, who had been stabbed in the stomach. Rescue workers from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation took him to Siriraj Hospital. The perpetrator, Mr. Kae Tha Oo, 29 years old, a Burmese national, was arrested with a broken skull and evidence of a blood-stained pocket knife. He initially confessed that he was the perpetrator because the three of them attacked him first, so he used the knife to stab him in self-defense. Pol. Col. Montchai Arun Songsangdee, Superintendent of Taling Chan Police Station, revealed that the workers who caused the incident, including the injured and deceased, were Burmese workers who were carrying stones in the factory. Before the incident, the perpetrator had been drinking alcohol with the group of deceased. Then, they had a personal argument. The perpetrator used a knife to assault the group of deceased, resulting in 2 deaths and 1 serious injury. While the patrol officers of Taling Chan Police Station, upon receiving the report, rushed to the scene and were able to control the perpetrator.
