EGAT showcases LED technology No. 5 to promote efficient and environmentally friendly electricity use at LED Expo Thailand and Smart Living Expo 2024. Mr. Chaiyos Tangvorakulchai, Assistant Governor for Sustainability Management, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), joined the opening ceremony of LED Expo Thailand and Smart Living Expo 2024 at Amber Room 2, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, with Mr. Wattanapong Kurovat, Director-General of the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency, representative of the Ministry of Energy, presiding over the opening ceremony. Mr. Chaiyos said that this event is considered the largest smart lighting technology event in ASEAN, gathering and presenting innovations, solutions, and technologies in electrical and smart lighting from more than 500 international brands from 10 countries around the world, including the Zhejiang International Trade Exhibition 2024, an important bilateral trade platform between Chin a and Thailand, supported by the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province, People's Republic of China, with EGAT as the main host of the event. The exhibition booth "EGAT Pavilion" at booth G10 presented the promotion of LED technology No. 5 that EGAT has been implementing since 2013, including the application of the No. 5 energy-saving label for LEDs used in households, buildings, and factories, and expanded to street lamps, as well as the pilot project of installing LED electrical systems in religious sites and important places to promote the tourism economy, which is a model for environmentally friendly energy innovation. The event also presented the ENZY EGAT's Smart Energy Solution, an intelligent energy management platform developed by EGAT to increase the efficiency of energy use in homes and buildings. In addition, EGAT booth also presented 10 projects to honor His Majesty the King on the occasion of His Majesty's 72nd Birthday Anniversary, such as the project to install a solar power generation s ystem No. 5 in the Royal Project area, the project to install a solar power generation system No. 5 at Wat Mahathat Wachiramongkol, and the project to establish a green classroom at Wachiralongkorn Wararam Secondary School. LED Expo Thailand and Smart Living Expo 2024 is divided into 4 main zones: the latest LED innovation zone, the intelligent lighting technology zone, the sustainable lighting industry zone, and the networking activity zone for business opportunities.
