EGCO Group opens the exhibition ‘Climate Tech: Children Shine Light, Reduce Global Warming’ at the 67th Science Fair

EGCO Group, through the Khanom Power Plant Learning Center, opens the exhibition 'Science Innovation, Changing the World: Climate Tech: Children Shine Light, Reduce Global Warming' at the National Science and Technology Fair 2024. Dr. Jiraporn Sirikham, Chief Executive Officer of Electricity Generating Public Company Limited (EGCO Group), revealed that EGCO Group believes that 'a good beginning will lead to a good end result'. Therefore, it places importance on disseminating knowledge and promoting the development of potential in science, innovation, and energy technology among the youth, which is the origin of learning and the future of the country. This is done through organizing the Science Week at Khanom Power Plant Learning Center, Khanom District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province every year. The fact that the Learning Center has been invited to participate in the Science Fair exhibition for the second consecutive year is a good opportunity for EGCO Group to create a wider positive impact. Importantly, it is to create experiences, spark ideas, and inspire the youth to invent, develop, and create innovations in energy and the environment, and to jointly 'shine' to their full potential in order to grow and participate in driving the country towards a low-carbon society. Youth who join the activities in the exhibition "Science Innovation, Changing the World: Climate Tech, Children Shine Light, Reduce Global Warming" of the Learning Center in the Science Fair 2024 will be transformed into little engineers, joining in the tracing of technology to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, watching a movie that goes back in time to find the cause of global warming in the Virtual Reality Cinema (Immersive Theater), and meeting the EGCO Rangers who will take you to fight global warming in 3 exhibition zones: Zone 1 EGCO Energy for Life Innovative Forest to Reduce Global Warming Climate Tech - Brighten Up the World: Invite the little ones to make hats and transform into little engineers, explore the innovative energy forest th at helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and have fun learning about important technologies, including a carbon capture and storage simulation cabinet, a hydrogen production station, and a battery energy storage cabinet. Zone 2 Climate Tech Children Shine Light, Reduce Global Warming: Take the kids on a journey through time, explore the world of innovation with a floating power plant, and be amazed by the energy innovations created by little innovators from all over the world through the Immersive Theater. Zone 3 Climate Tech Innovation for Better Life: Science Innovation to Reduce Global Warming: Opening a giant art wall for children to create ideas to reduce global warming and pass on inspiration to take care of the world. The exhibition 'Science Innovation, Changing the World: Climate Tech, Children Shine Light, Reduce Global Warming' will be held continuously from today until August 25, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Building 12, Impact Muang Thong Thani.
