Election Commission Chairman Verifies Lawful Conduct of Advance Voting in Bangkok

Bangkok: The Chairman of the Election Commission emphasized that the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority (MWA) performed its duties correctly according to the law. The Chairman of the Election Commission observed the advance voting at the Lak Si District Office, emphasizing that the polling officers performed their duties correctly according to the law to prevent complaints.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Narong Klanwarin, Chairman of the Election Commission, along with his team, observed the advance voting for members of the House of Representatives at the Lak Si District Office and Chandrakasem Rajabhat University in Bangkok. The purpose was to monitor the smooth running of the election process at every stage, ensuring it was conducted honestly, fairly, and in accordance with the law. Overall, the advance and out-of-district voting proceeded normally, with a large turnout of voters.

The Chairman of the Election Commission emphasized that polling station officials must perform their duties carefully and correctly according to the law to prevent complaints about their conduct and to build confidence in the election process.

At the central polling station in Lak Si District, 25,793 people registered to vote in advance, which is approximately 8,000 more than the advance voting in 2023.
