EXIM BANK donates money to ‘1 sport, 1 state enterprise’

EXIM BANK donates '1 Sport, 1 State Enterprise' to promote the Practical Shooting Sports Association, Extreme Sports Association, 32 million baht. Mr. Teeralak Sangsanit, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EXIM BANK, Mr. Bandit Sapianchai, Chairman of the Executive Board of EXIM BANK, and Dr. Rak Vorakitpokatorn, President of EXIM BANK, donated 32 million baht to support the '1 Sport, 1 State Enterprise' project to the Practical Shooting Sports Association of Thailand and the Extreme Sports Association of Thailand over a period of 4 years through Assistant Professor Pimol Srivikorn, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Consideration of Support for Sports Associations from State Enterprises and Private Sectors, along with Mr. Preecha Lalun, Deputy Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand, to support the systematic development of sports, extend the Soft Power and Thai athletes to international sports competitions, which will benefit the driving force of the economy and society, as well as the development of quality human resources in the professional sports industry and the good reputation of Thailand at the international level. The EXIM BANK Managing Director said that the '1 Sport, 1 State Enterprise' project provides opportunities for both the private sector and state enterprises to play an important role in systematically supporting each type of sport. State enterprise support helps athletes gain more access to training and skill development opportunities to inspire youth and the general public to exercise and play sports skillfully, and promote the emergence of more sports-related professions, such as coaches, trainers, referees, and other sports professions. This also helps stimulate the local and national economy in another way, such as generating income from hotels, restaurants, and integrated transportation businesses. This is a project that benefits the country in terms of sports development, health promotion, economic empowerment, reputation building, and cooperation between the public and private se ctors.
