Mr. Settha Thavisin, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, discussed with the executive team of the Federation of Thai Industries (F.T.I.), led by Mr. Kriengkrai Thiannukul, F.T.I. Chairman, to push forward the guidelines. Driving the industrial sector and the Thai economy, the FTI Chairman has proposed 8 guidelines for the development of Thai industry, focusing on 3 areas of development: development of competitiveness; Driving GDP to grow more and sustainability Both dealing with climate change and BCG economic development

In addition, the Prime Minister has confirmed that he will support the production of internal combustion vehicles (ICE) along with the promotion of electric vehicles (EV) for a balance which he stated will be the last man standing, that is, the last country to cancel its use. There is no need to cut corners because investing in ICE vehicles is a traditional industry that has potential in Thailand and creates employment for more than 600,000 people, so there is more time for the transition because Thai fuel is now available. High standards such as Euro 6 will also reduce environmental impacts.

Energy management throughout the system to support the energy transition (Energy Transition).

4. Promoting exports, trade and supporting investment in target industries (S-Curve) 5. Upgrading the industry with technology, innovation and digital 6. Sustainable industrial development (BCG and ESG) Water resource management and moving towards the goal of Net Zero 7. Promoting and developing the potential of SMEs entrepreneurs 8.
