Bangkok: “Former Phra Alongkot” has reached out to his disciples with a heartfelt letter from prison, expressing gratitude for their support and urging them to continue working together for the welfare of children.

According to Thai News Agency, the letter was shared by Prae Praiwan Wannabut, who posted it along with a message highlighting the former monk’s ongoing determination and resilience.

The letter, penned by former monk Alongkot, conveys his appreciation for the visits from his disciples, which he described as deeply moving. He emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration among his followers, encouraging them to ensure that everyone has enough resources. The letter specifically calls for efforts to provide food for the children, suggesting practical measures such as growing vegetables and raising animals.

Furthermore, Phra Alongkot urged the younger generation to strive for excellence, motivating them to aim for national recognition in their activities. He reassured his followers of his unwavering resolve and expressed hope for divine protection over them.

In terms of legal proceedings, investigations into the financial transactions and assets associated with the temple are ongoing. Authorities are making progress in tracing the temple’s substantial assets, which predominantly include land valued at nearly one billion baht. The recovery process of these assets is underway as officials continue to examine the origins of the temple’s wealth.
