According to Thai News Agency, the initiative covers several types of protected sites, including national parks, wildlife sanctuaries, botanical gardens, and arboretums. It is a unique opportunity for Thai nationals to engage with the country's natural beauty. All types of vehicles are also exempt from entrance fees on this day.
Visitors are advised to verify the opening and closing status of attractions via each national park's Facebook page or the QueQ app, as some areas might be temporarily closed for planned natural restoration. The public is encouraged to travel responsibly by avoiding the use of styrofoam and single-use plastic containers, and pets are not permitted within the national park areas.
