Bangkok: GHB (Government Housing Bank) has initiated the distribution of relief packages to flood victims in Nan Province to mitigate the impact of recent flooding.
According to Thai News Agency, Dr. Mahatthana Ampornphisit, Managing Director of GHB, delegated a team led by Mr. Wisit Yodying, the Nan Branch Manager, along with bank staff, to distribute 200 relief packages. The recipients included customers and residents affected by heavy rainfall, flash floods, and landslides that caused damage to homes. The distribution was conducted at two key locations: the disaster relief center at Tha Wang Pha District Office auditorium and the disaster relief shelter at Pua District Office auditorium. The donations were received by Mr. Mahannop Chaisalee, Deputy District Chief of Tha Wang Pha and Head of the Administrative Affairs Group, and Ms. Monchanat Udsorn, Deputy District Chief of Pua and Head of the Administrative Affairs Group.
