Because during this time, large frogs will come down to play in the water along the creeks and canals. This frog was caught on a mountain near the Thai-Malaysia border. Seven frogs were caught. These frogs were medium sized. The biggest one we got in this round was about 2 kilograms. Nowadays , large mountain frogs are becoming difficult to find. Because most of them are in the deep forest. I've seen large ones about 3-5 kilograms long. For mountain frogs, they live in fertile forests. Found mostly along the Thai-Malaysian border in Betong District and nearby areas.
