Bangkok: The government is set to host a celebratory reception this evening in honor of Her Majesty the Queen. The event marks the 4th cycle birthday anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit on June 3, 2026, and will be held at the Santi Maitri Building, Government House.
According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul arrived at Government House at 8:53 AM today. Upon arrival, he greeted the media with a smile and wave before entering the Thai Khu Fah building, where he performed his customary act of paying respects to the Narasimha statue on the second-floor balcony.
The Prime Minister and his wife are scheduled to have an audience with His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen at 10:00 AM. This meeting will take place at the Amarin Winitchai Throne Hall in the Grand Palace as part of the royal ceremony celebrating the Queen's birthday.
Later in the day, at 2:00 PM, Mr. Fran§ois Corbin, Special Representative of the Minister of European Affairs and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of France for Economic Relations with ASEAN, together with a delegation of businesspeople, will meet with the Prime Minister and the Minister of Interior. This meeting will occur at the Phakdi Bodin Building, Government House, during their visit to Thailand.
The celebratory reception in the evening will see the Prime Minister preside over the event, honoring Her Majesty Queen Sirikit's significant birthday milestone.
