Bangkok: The Government Lottery Office is actively recruiting N3 agents to expand opportunities for individuals with disabilities, allowing them to earn up to 4,000 baht per draw without any initial investment.
According to Thai News Agency, the initiative aims to increase the number of lottery ticket distributors nationwide under the three-digit number system (N3). This recruitment drive specifically targets people with disabilities who hold valid disability identification cards and are prepared to undertake the role. Presently, there are around 26,000 N3 distributors across the country, each receiving 2,000 tickets per draw and earning a commission of 2 baht per ticket, leading to potential earnings of 4,000 baht per draw without needing to pre-purchase tickets.
Lieutenant Colonel Nun Sansanakom, Director of the Government Lottery Office, stated that the sales of N3 lottery tickets have been consistently rising, with current sales figures reaching no less than 6 million tickets per draw. This is close to the sales ceiling of 7 million tickets per draw, indicating a growing understanding and acceptance of the N3 lottery format as a viable alternative for those unable to procure six-digit lottery tickets with preferred numbers.
The recruitment process distinguishes between two groups of eligible applicants: existing lottery ticket distributors maintaining their status as of July 1, 2026, and disabled individuals with valid disability identification cards who meet the outlined criteria. Candidates must demonstrate readiness and ability to independently sell lottery tickets. Approximately 30,000 disabled individuals have already submitted applications. The Government Lottery Office, in conjunction with the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, will verify applicants' qualifications and status following the application deadline.
Interested parties can apply via the online application portal on the Government Lottery Office website from August 23 to September 30, 2026, until 3:00 PM. Post-application, a thorough qualification verification and selection process will ensue, culminating in the announcement of successful candidates on the Lottery 80 website.
Concurrently, the Government Lottery Office is advancing its responsible lottery business practices, aiming to elevate its Responsible Gaming operations to Level 3 by 2027, in alignment with the World Lottery Association standards. The office is also advocating for mindful lottery purchasing, promoting savings planning, restricting youth access to lotteries, and offering counseling for individuals at risk of lottery addiction.
