Nonthaburi:A nighttime car chase led to a gunfight, leaving bullet casings scattered near Wat Lad Pladuk in Bang Khurad Subdistrict, Bang Bua Thong District, causing alarm among residents.
According to Thai News Agency, the incident unfolded at 117 AM on October 9, 2069, when a Facebook user uploaded a photo of over 10 spent bullet casings with the caption, "They did it again. Thunder roared in the night." CCTV footage from a nearby steel rebar shop captured a sedan arriving from Sai Noi District and parking in front of a metal sheet shop. Another sedan followed from the same direction, after which around 15 gunshots were heard. The first sedan reversed and fled towards Bang Na Phatthana Subdistrict, with the second vehicle in pursuit.
A subsequent inspection of the scene by forensic officers from Nonthaburi Province revealed 18 spent bullet casings scattered along the route, which stretched about 200 meters from a steel bar shop to a salad shop. A pickup truck sustained damage with a shattered windshield, and the office windows of the metal sheet shop were broken. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Ms. Orn, an employee at the metal sheet shop, stated that after the shooting, the shop owner discovered broken front glass. The housekeeper first noticed broken glass and a bullet behind the coffee counter in the morning.
