Bangkok: His Majesty the King has announced the appointment of Police General Samran Nualma as the Commissioner General of the Royal Thai Police.
According to Thai News Agency, the official appointment was made through a Royal Decree, designating Pol. Gen. Samran Nualma to his new role, which will be effective starting October 1, 2026. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Deputy Commissioner General of the Royal Thai Police. The announcement of his new role was made on July 24, 2026, and the decree was countersigned by Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, the Prime Minister.
