According to Thai News Agency, Dr. Panphermsak Arunee, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), assigned Assoc. Prof. Dr. Panavee Phokaiudom, President of Mahanakorn University of Technology, to preside over the closing ceremony of the IEEE BioSensors 2026 International Conference. The conference was organized by the IEEE Sensors Council under the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), a leading international professional and academic organization playing a vital role in promoting advancements in engineering, science, technology, and innovation. Researchers, academics, and members of the media attended the event at the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park Hotel, Bangkok.
Dr. Panphomsak highlighted that the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) believes that innovations that create a wide-ranging impact result from the integration of knowledge and collaboration from all sectors. Therefore, it focuses on promoting research and development, nurturing and developing new generations of researchers, and fostering collaboration between higher education institutions, the government, industry, and international partners to push research findings towards tangible applications.
