Bangkok: The Junior Ballers League (JB League) 2026 basketball skills tryouts for 10- and 11-year-old athletes have been successfully completed. The event, held on March 28-29, 2026, at Sports Hall 2, DBS Denla British School, focused on selecting promising young talent for national competition. According to Thai News Agency, the tryouts were a comprehensive two-day event where young athletes showcased their determination and skills. The first day involved detailed testing of fundamental basketball skills including dribbling, scoring accuracy, agility, and one-on-one skills. The second day assessed team play systems, evaluating the athletes' understanding of the game, coordination with teammates, and problem-solving abilities on the court. The selection process was led by a team of esteemed head coaches in Thai basketball, including Coach Dave - Sukhdev Koker, Coach Chopper - Jitraphon Toveroj, and others. These coaches meticulously evaluated the athletes to identify those with the most potential to join th e national competition system. The JBD League players may be called up to the main league during the season, promoting continuous skill development.
