IRPC expands production and export potential of Jet A1

Bangkok, IRPC Public Company Limited (IRPC) revealed that after improving the refinery, Jet A1 production has increased, boosting air travel. The latest export is to Vietnam. Mr. Kris Imsang, Chief Executive Officer of IRPC, revealed that from the success of the refinery efficiency improvement project and Euro 5 diesel quality or UCF (Ultra clean fuel) in the past, IRPC is now able to further develop and expand the potential of Jet A1 aviation fuel production with a production capacity of 215 barrels per day and will be ready for sale in July 2024 onwards. This success is an extension and development of UCF products to expand the company's production potential. High-quality Jet A1 aviation fuel, which is in demand by the aviation industry both domestically and internationally, helps create added value and income for the company and is an important factor in economic development and international transportation connectivity. In addition, Jet A1 aviation fuel produced by IRPC has been certified according to the quality standards of JIG or Joint Inspection Group, which plays an important role in promoting safety and efficiency in aviation fuel management. The standards and practices according to JIG standards are international standards that are accepted and used in airports and fueling stations both domestically and internationally. IRPC is ready to provide and distribute Jet A1 aviation fuel that can fully meet the needs of customers and users. Most recently, on July 18, 2024, IRPC, together with PTT International Trading Pte. Ltd. and PTT Oil and Retail Business Co., Ltd., exported Jet A1 aviation fuel to Vietnam at the IRPC Industrial Estate Port in Rayong Province. Jet A1 aviation fuel is a fuel used in jet aircraft, passenger aircraft or general commercial aircraft. It is currently in high demand in both domestic and international aviation markets after the world opened up after the Covid-1 crisis and Thailand has a demand for Jet A1 fuel of more than 450 million liters/month and is expected to grow in th e future.
